A fantastic location Lovely clean and modern units Owners more then helpful, very friendly and provided us with local knowledge. A really terrific place.

The proprietors were very friendly and welcoming- made us feel right at home. The kids thought they were fabulous because they swept the sand out of the cubby house on site and were rewarded with a crunchie ( bar) each

Greeted by name , unit absolutely spotless and well maintained and everything worked. Great attention to detail, plenty of crockery/cutlery, good saucepans and decent knives (utensils for making a family meal) -hooray free laundry.
Best place we stayed in North and South Island over 4 weeks of traveling. Owners obviously take pride in the place and create a sense of home Really quiet location too

Very helpful, given price of smaller room though none available. Looked after bags while we were away 1 night and then put them back in or room. Sorted out a suitcase with padlock that would not unlock

Warm welcome on arrival with very helpful advice about where to go etc Accommodation was excellent, extremely spacious with two bedrooms, living kitchen sofas, bathroom etc. Every convenience possible, ironing board, plunger, wine glasses, alarm clocks, microwave, cooking utensils, large numbers of cutlery, plates etc. extremely clean and well decorated. Linen on beds beautifully presented, so clean, beds very comfortable, huge TV with sky even sky magazine available,
Such a huge contrast to other accommodation in New Zealand. As a family with young children the thing we valued the most was a bath.
Ps Excellent location, next to, and overlooking botanical gardens.

Very impressed with the brightness, cleanliness and great hosts at this motel. We have stayed at 11 NZ motels in the past 5 weeks and this one is the best. The location is so quiet and the queens park behind the motel is a bonus. The hosts were very helpful with their many suggestions given to us.

Within 10 minutes of arriving Mark supplied us with two sets of golf clubs and no cost. we were off golfing within half an hour. He was immediately there for us if we needed anything and was very welcoming

We are more then satisfied with this motel, it is very clean and well set out with clean carpet, new sofa. Table and bench good size and a stove which we were able to cook our meals, , good microwave and easy to use. Toaster does not jam, good size shower. The owner has been very helpful and also our own ironing board. The gardens are very well kept and the buildings are of tidy appearance.

Beautifully clean, spacious, well appointed and comfortable unit. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Plenty of towels, and extra bedding etc. Iron and iron board supplied. Plunger coffee, and DVD. Free washing machine. Very welcome, warm, and friendly service. Fabulous location- back of Queens Park. Very detailed and friendly information manual.

While not a motel in the high tarriff luxury accommodation category it is very well furnished immaculate and clean. The location in a quiet neighbourhood is a big plus as well as its position abutting Queens Park itself.

Very clean and tidy room, the host was cheerful and friendly and provided great information about the town and things to do in Invercargill. Very spacious room , great for family with 2 adults and three children. Yard was very well kept. nice gardens and lawns.

Wonderful motel. We have been travelling all over the South Island and this is the nicest motel we have stayed in. The room/units are spotless and seem to be almost new. Quiet location which makes sleeping in their comfortable beds a treat. The kitchen is fully stocked and everything you may need. The couple who owns the motels are so nice and really go out of their way to make your stay feel like home.

Wonderful experience The owners are excellent hosts and while a more mature motel, its presentation is a credit to them and reflects their spot on attitude to customer service. Mark’s sharing of his local knowledge greatly enhanced our visit to the region. I will be recommending this motel to our travel agent and anyone I know visiting Invercargill.
